Royal & Sunalliance are in denial about their past the roots of their empire can be traced to Liverpool in the 1700s. Liverpool would have been an insignificant fishing port had it not been Africans. It is fair to say that every building in Liverpool was cemented with the blood of Africans. It is also fair to say that any subsequent business ventures was infected by complicity of the slave trade.

The Royal & Sunalliance was established in Liverpool, they insured ships to send produce Africa, but they have no records for the ongoing voyages of enslaved Africans to the Americas.
